Together Through Art
This free event invites you to explore our art exhibition either in person at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London, or online, where you can browse and purchase artworks from the comfort of your home. We’re honoured to be featuring works from almost 100 wonderful artists, including by the renowned Jonathan Yeo, Kate Morgan, and Matthew Rice, illustrator for Emma Bridgewater.
A Moveable Feast - Hypha Curates
The title of the exhibition references Ernest Hemingway’s memoir of the same name. Presented in a dense and exciting salon style hang, the diverse mix of works – selected from over 900 applications to Hypha Curates – invite the visitor to draw new, unexpected, and rich connections across the mixed media curation. Just as Hemingway weaved together encounters with a diverse coterie of friends and figures of the time, Wills’ curation is intended to initiate new conversation rather than draw conclusions.

/painting.30y_log
"I don’t know when a person becomes an artist. Learning to draw doesn’t necessarily make you one. Maybe being an artist is a position in life? A position towards an object, a phenomenon, or a situation. The challenge is to find and maintain that position."
- Painter, Prof. Arūnas Vaitkūnas (1956–2005)
/painting.30y_log is not only an exhibition marking a thirty-year milestone but also a reflection on the experience accumulated throughout that time. Like a log - a personal entry on the timeline, it serves as a form of artistic memory shaped by former students’ painting practices, personal discoveries, and their evolving artistic identities.
The exhibition commemorates the 30th anniversary (1995–2025) of the Painting Program at the VDA Kaunas Faculty. Over the past three decades, numerous painters have graduated from the program, who actively participate in residencies, exhibitions, and biennials, and have received significant recognition for their creative work.
How the Light Gets In
In an evocative exploration of resilience, transformation and beauty, Marylebone Gallery proudly presents “How the Light Gets In”, a group exhibition by a collective of current students at City and Guilds of London Art School from the BA, MA Fine Art and MA Carving cohorts, responding to this theme in the disciplines of painting, print, sculpture, and mixed media.
Taking inspiration from Leonard Cohen’s famous lyric — “There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in” — the show gathers contemporary artists whose work grapples with vulnerability, fragmentation, the quiet force of light that emerges through darkness and on how imperfections and flaws are not something to be ashamed of but rather opportunities for growth, understanding and the entry of light and beauty into our lives.

Interview at Art Radar
How did you get into art?
I was inseparable from art since I can remember. Drawing and painting was my favourite thing to do when I was a child, and it still is now. I studied painting at Vilnius Academy of Arts, and whilst there it felt like being at home. I instantly knew that I made the right decision by choosing to study arts.

Going Back to My Roots - solo exhibition
For our first exhibition in 2023 in the Viewing Room Diana Savostaite (Studio 5-236) presents new large format shaped paintings.
Come and join us for the Private View on Friday 13 January 2023, 6-9pm
Exhibition Dates: 9 January - 5 February 2023
Going Back to My Roots is a solo presentation including both - large, shaped paintings and mini abstract paintings by Diana Savostaite.
The Exhibition title refers to finding an integral connection between mind, body, and the surrounding world. Throughout her practice, Diana takes inspiration from the observation of the natural world, and absorption of everything that she sees, hears, or feels.
Her creative practice seeks to express that which is invisible by eye but what can be experienced or felt, by grasping the subtle moments of the present and feeling it through body sensations.
Since 2019, Diana has been broadening her artwork boundaries through introducing large scale shaped canvas formats, as well as experimenting with mixed mediums, textures, collages. Experimental canvas shapes become directives to Diana’s painting, they seem to be in a constant motion and highlight the feeling of ever-changing nature, the flow of energies between inside and out.
In her latest artwork, Diana started to incorporate embroidery collages. Whilst growing up in the Lithuanian countryside, embroidery occupied a big part of her lifetime. Adding them to her paintings is like weaving in a little piece of Lithuanian heritage, something that is very personal and deeply rooted from the beginning.
Thames-Side Studios Viewing Room is located on the ground floor of Unit 8. Entrance to Unit 8 is via The Atrium. Turn left upon entering the main site, walk through The Atrium turning to the left, to find the exhibition located between studios TB-10 and TB-09.

Not only is nature feeling this re-birth, but artists from all over the world are contemplating what it means to create art in today’s shifting landscape and have been challenged to discover new ways of presenting their ideas to new audiences. This exhibition aims to show that art still has the ability to cross borders, boundaries and lockdowns – regardless of location, race, nationality, age, gender or professional career level. The London Paint Club Open Call welcomes all applicants and we are thrilled to announce this diverse group of artists from around the globe.
London Paint Club was created during the global pandemic in March 2020, and saw the potential and necessity of social media to spread art, ideas and inspiration around the world.
