Shaped Canvas for Oil Painting

Preparation of handmade shaped canvases for oil painting. The wooden stretcher frames are constructed using a hand saw. Once the linen canvases are stretched, rabbit skin glue is applied to size the surface, followed by a transparent gesso primer to complete the ground for painting.
